It’s 2023, folks, and launching a brand (let alone a rebrand) can feel daunting. There are so many facets and little tasks to accomplish. It really can be overwhelming.
So, as PARABLE launches into a new brand identity in 2023, I wanted to give you the exact process we used to go about it as it’s happening in real-time…
Why a rebrand now?
Rebranding can be a great way to freshen up your company's image, reach a new audience, or better align with your current values.
PARABLE was founded in 2020 with a desire to help companies tell their stories. We were originally a complete media agency available for anything related to brand. As we grew, we evolved by honing into a more specific mission.
We’re rebranding now to give an actual look, feel, and tangible journey that matches the story of our brand and the strategy of how we continue to impact our clients.
Create a rebrand launch plan
Here are some tips we have gone through that might help you launch a successful rebrand in 2023.
Identify your goals.
It's important to have a clear idea of what you want to achieve with your rebrand before you start. Are you looking to attract a new audience? Update your visual identity? Establish a new mission statement? Outline your goals and objectives so that you can plan a strategy that meets them.
Research your competition.
Take a look at the competition and find out what they're doing differently. Use this information to inform your strategy, and identify areas where you can stand out. AKA - to stand out you’ll have to put your company in a completely different category than your perceived competition.
Analyze your current brand.
Take a look at the current state of your brand, and consider what could use improvement. Are there any elements that could be updated? Are there any areas where you could do better?
Develop a strategy.
Once you have identified your goals and analyzed your current brand, it's time to develop a strategy. Outline a timeline and budget, and identify the steps you will need to take to reach your goals.
This is also a great time to connect with your team to help rebuild mission statements, vision statements, and values. Interview key team members, board members, and contractors. Get their perspective and feedback on the business's overall mission, vision, and operation.

Create a brand persona or ideal client.
A brand persona is a representation of your target audience. It should include demographic information, lifestyle, and other characteristics. This will help you create content tailored to your target audience.
During our brand strategy process, interviewing 3-5 current clients is a must to help identify the problems of your future ideal clients.
Update your visuals.
Rebranding should include an update to your visual identity. This can include a new logo, website design, and other elements that reflect your new brand. Make sure to consult a professional graphic designer to help you get the look and feel you want for your brand.
Utilize your brand strategy as a guide and filter to direct the steps here. Don’t just make a new design because it looks cool, give it direction and purpose.

Develop a content strategy.
Content is key to a successful rebrand. Develop a content strategy that will help you communicate your message to your target audience. This can include blog posts, social media campaigns, and more.
Will you share your new brand in social media posts, blogs, new podcasts, interactive designs… heck, a good old mailer campaign? Get creative with your team here. Being willing to share or give value. I don’t know, you could even give away cacti or something 🤷♂️.
Measure results.
As you launch your rebrand, measure the results of your efforts. Track your progress and make adjustments as needed.
Implement and Activate your Brand Strategy
